Tulip & Storm's Litter – Four Week Birthday!

Four Weeks Already… Where Has the Time Gone?

Wow! Time is absolutely flying with this litter. It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming seven tiny newborns into the world, and now our Traveler's Litter is celebrating their four-week birthday! Every day brings something new, and they continue to amaze us with their growth, barking, playfulness, and developing personalities.

Last weekend marked a big milestone as the puppies graduated from our bedroom to their soon-to-be spacious puppy area in the living room alongside Mom, Tulip. They settled into their new surroundings almost immediately and have been thoroughly enjoying playing, and wrestle with one another.

This week brought another exciting first—their very first solid meal! On Tuesday, the puppies were introduced to fresh raw food, and unlike many litters that need a little encouragement, this enthusiastic group knew exactly what to do. There was no hesitation whatsoever—they eagerly devoured every bite!

Their meals currently consist of pure ground raw turkey, blended with goat kefir and either WellyTails Advanced Puppy Starter or Omega Alpha Puppy Probiotic, depending on the meal. Yesterday, they officially graduated to three meals a day, a schedule they'll remain on until approximately six months of age. After that, they'll transition to two meals daily, and by the time they're fully mature at around 24 months, they'll enjoy one meal each day.

If you've been watching our 24/7 puppy camera, you've probably noticed how incredibly clean the whelping area remains. That's all thanks to Tulip, who continues to be an outstanding mother and meticulously cleans up after her puppies.

This was taken in the dark as Miss Vanilla slept....shhhhh

This week brings yet another exciting change! We'll be expanding their living space and introducing a dedicated toilet area. It's always fascinating to watch this stage of development, as puppies naturally begin to separate their sleeping area from their bathroom area. They learn remarkably quickly, and it's one of the first important steps toward successful house training.

And the adventures are only just beginning!

Over the coming weeks, the puppies will experience one of our favourite milestones—their very first trip outdoors. While they won't be learning to potty outside just yet, they'll begin exploring the sights, sounds, smells, and textures of the world beyond their puppy room. Watching their little faces light up with curiosity as they discover grass, leaves, sunshine, and gentle breezes is one of the most rewarding parts of raising a litter.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open House! It was wonderful catching up with returning Regalgoldens families and meeting those welcoming one of our puppies into their homes for the very first time. We always enjoy sharing these special moments with you, and Tulip and Storm certainly appreciated all the extra attention and cuddles too!

The next few weeks are when the real fun begins. Personalities will blossom, confidence will grow, and every day will bring new adventures.

Stay tuned… the best is yet to come!

Storm & Tulip Puppies – Day One

They're Here! What a day it was! Tulip didn't skip a beat yesterday. She enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner as if it were any other day... and then, at 6:30 p.m., she calmly welcomed her first puppy into the world. Making a grand entrance was  Mr. Rocky Road  (brown collar). Not long afterward,  Mr. Maple Walnut  (beige collar) arrived, and that's when things started to get a little more exciting! Our third arrival,  Mr. Pistachio  (green collar), decided the backyard lawn was the perfect place to make his debut while Tulip and I were out for an evening walk. Thankfully, I always carry a towel with me when we're close to whelping. I scooped up our newest little traveler, and Tulip and I made a speedy dash back to the house. The surprises didn't stop there!  Miss Vanilla  (white collar) made her entrance on the bedroom carpet while I was letting Tulip outside for a quick bathroom break. Shortly afterward,  Mr. Moose Tracks  (blac...

A Big Week for Dutch and Fiona's Puppies!

Two weeks old today! Fiona's puppies are now two weeks old, and what an exciting stage this is! Every day brings new changes as the puppies grow stronger, more aware, and even more adorable (if that’s possible). At this age, the biggest milestone is that their eyes are now open! Though their vision is still a bit blurry, they’re beginning to see the world for the first time — mostly shapes, light, and movement. Over the next week, their eyesight will continue to sharpen, and they’ll start recognizing their littermates, their mom, and of course, us humans. The puppies are also becoming more mobile. Their wobbly little legs are gaining strength as they start to scoot, crawl, and even attempt to stand. It’s amazing to watch how quickly they go from tiny, sleepy newborns to curious explorers. Fiona is doing a wonderful job keeping everyone clean, warm, and fed. Although she doesn't have the milk supply we hoped for, we are supplementing by bottle feeding at least once daily.  The p...
